How Can I Help FixUS?

Paul Stebbins of FixUS speaking at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.

There is no silver bullet to fix what ails our democracy. Rather, the FixUS solution rests on the idea that meaningful change will result from a critical mass of Americans who take responsibility for changing how we engage - with each other, within our community, and in service of our nation. FixUS provides citizens with opportunities to engage, and has developed the following resources for individuals looking to affect change at the individual, community, and national levels.

Join the broader FixUS Network

  • Sign up to receive updates from FixUS
  • Read and share our publications
  • Donate – or encourage your employer to donate – to FixUS. Supporting FixUS, a project of the non-partisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, a 501(c)3 non-profit, will help us engage fellow citizens to better understand and address our nation’s growing divisions, dysfunction, and distrust in our political system through research projects and other efforts

Are you part of a group promoting solutions to our greatest challenges?

  • Consider joining our FixUS Democracy Reformers Breakfast Group, a network of individuals and organizations working on a variety of issues including ballot access, gerrymandering, primaries, civic dialogue, and others. Over 100 organizations regularly participate in these forums for updates, networking, and presentations on pressing issues of interest
  • If you are interested in learning more about the Breakfast Group or participating in one of its meetings, please reach out to Andrew Henry at henry@crfb.org

Are you a scholar or academic getting to the roots of the ills of our democratic society?

  • FixUS regularly convenes dozens of leading academics and intellectuals from across the ideological spectrum to analyze the dynamic forces driving our democracy's foundational issues and to critique and elevate each other's research and written works
  • If you are a scholar or academic whose work is related to depolarization, increasing trust, or reducing dysfunction in American government or society and are interested in taking part in the "Thinkers" Group, please contact Andrew Henry at henry@crfb.org
